Darrin Returns to AISN as CTO

Richmond, Va. — August 8, 2018 — AIS Network is broadening its senior leadership team in the wake of accelerating growth. The IT managed services provider has announced the return of Joshua Darrin, who will become AISN’s new chief technology and compliance officer. Kurt Baumann, AISN’s current chairman and CTO, will remain a key leader as the chief strategy officer.

AISN is a leader in information security as well as an award-winning application developer and secure IT managed services expert. For 25 years, it has served large commercial businesses as well as local, state and federal government, including the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Darrin will become responsible for overseeing hosting and managed services, fulfillment and delivery for new state government contracts, technical architecture for client solutions, and information security and compliance. Previously, he was AISN’s director of operations and compliance for three years until he left in 2015 to join Fíonta as director of engineering, where he was instrumental in increasing revenue, building a large technical team and helping develop an efficient project management structure. Darrin has over 25 years of experience, including years spent as a technology entrepreneur. In addition to a variety of technology, development, and cybersecurity startups, his ventures also include The Strand Cybercafe (a full-service restaurant on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor) and Treman Falls Productions (a television production company dedicated to positive impact reality programming).
