Richmond, Va. — October 16, 2017 — AIS Network, the premier eGov solutions provider for the Commonwealth of Virginia, announced that its client, the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), has recently been recognized with three more national awards for its Virginia School Quality Profiles website –

• Savvy Award from the City-County Communications Marketing Association (3CMA) and
• Best in Class in both the Government and Education categories from the Interactive Media Council’s (IMC) Interactive Media Awards

School Quality Profiles is an online data tool that communicates to millions of parents and the public about the status and achievements of Virginia’s more than 1,800 public schools.

According to comments from judges for the 3CMA 2017 Savvy Award, the Virginia School Quality Profiles site is “amazingly functional and easy to use, even though the information is really complex. The searchability and interactive displays make this website really standout. Good educational sites like this are few and far between. Nice work!”

The IMC’s Best in Class Award is the highest honor presented by the Interactive Media Awards and represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.

In addition to these two awards, the VDOE was awarded the Richmond Technology Council’s “Innovation in Utilization Award,” public project category, for its Virginia School Quality Profiles state report card.
